As I slowly awoke this morning the frost was thick on both the roads and the cars in the parking lot, the sun was slowly coming up as I strolled down the stairs to get my fresh milk from the doorstep. I noticed it wasn’t as cold as it looked out there today, but nonetheless it was a cold start of the day. After meeting up with a few brothers and sisters of the Sentinels we all mounted up and headed South for a wonderful ride down and around Castle Rock, CO. staying off the major highways and just taking the back roads by the reigns. As we winded in and around the turns and through the straightaways we finally found ourselves in Castle Rock begging our Road Capt., for some food. After which we headed back North to the city via 85 where we split off as most of our crew headed West to another brother’s home for a pit stop. The rest of us, kept going North back to town. The scoots must of known we were heading that way cause they were rather ansi at getting back to the stables.

As I’m heading home during the final stretch, past the congestion interstates that plaque our lands, I heard a quiet whisper over the purring of the pipes… at first I wasn’t sure what I was hearing, so I looked around to see if someone was yelling at me on the road or if I heard music or whatever, but then I heard it again a few miles down the road, this time a little louder….

I … S P I R I T…

My Scoot finally spoke to me and told me her name…
I’m so proud of my steel horse.

Following up on my last report about the whole not having a motorcycle thing… well, I bought me a 2001 Dyna SuperGlide Harley-Davidson, used but new to me. I love it, been out riding it for 3 whole days now, and I’ve had it for 3 weeks. Usually I take it out on Saturday or Sunday depending on what’s going on that day. I’ve decided to be a biker for Halloween this year, since I have all whole outfit, chaps, colors (patches), boots, jacket, bandanna…. now I just need that babe I mentioned on the first paragraph to go with me… I’m probably a little desperate and probably should have asked her out a year ago, but sometimes you just have to let go and let God handle your life…. and sometimes you just need to grow some nads and fill up yer gut with some adventure.

Jeanne, Tom’s mom, seams to be doing better after her 2nd or 3rd Chemo treatment (I think it’s the 2nd one). But she is still on Oxygen, hasn’t been able to lite a candle in almost 2 months now (which breaks her heart), nor has she left her house except to go to the doctor. She’s so depressed but yet very happy to have people over…. I sure wished I still lived in Denver, as I’d be there every day if I could, just to help out, lift her spirit abit and so forth…
