Well a lot has happened since my last post. Apparently I don’t follow blogging rules as I always forget to add something to this site to tell the world what I’ve been doing.. instead I’d rather tell the social network site, bookface all about my everyday happenings. Did you know that’s a CIA data mining business? I didn’t still I started reading articles about it today. Oh well.

Last month, July was an awful month for me. Started out with a bang and ended with a bang… First off gearing up and getting ready to head North to the Farm for more 4th of July action. Travels going well, getting close to my destination just like all previous trips to the farm when all of a sudden out from the dark at 3am in the morning two deer decide it’s the best time to cross the road. I mean, if I was them I’d probably got at that time too, considering you got this nice bright light to guide your way across the road. Unfortunately the second deer didn’t see anything except the world spinning around him. The first deer was able to get past my vehicle, but the second.. not so lucky. Thankfully I hit the second deer square middle of my car damaging a lot but allowed me to drive to the nearest gas station to call for help……… you’d think this day in age we could actually use our cell phones to call for help, but not out in the middle of open range country where only deer and coyotes roam.

After that fiasco I finally got back home and a couple weeks later I went back to the farm to pick up my car from the repair shop and again returned home after a nice little visit with my Uncle and Aunt.

Then just when you think everythings going great.. BAM!

July 31st I decided to meet up with my SMC Brothers like we always do on the weekends except this time, little rock like creatures jumped up and swiped my rear tire out from under me when turning my bike… some people call them little creatures, gravel. I don’t remember much of what happened from the time my tire slid out from under me till the point of impact but landing sure hurt like heck. Reverse Dislocation of the dominate shoulder. Right shoulder now out of use and I’m stuck with my South Paw to do everything… like brushing the teeth… almost impossible at first.. I went two weeks without shaving and I won’t mention other daily duties that really made me wonder about.

I will say one thing though, after a month of slinging it, my left arm is ready for a vacation but now I’m a lot more ambidextrous. The shoulder still is a bit stiff on moving solo, actually it barely moves still unless helped.

I am determined though to ride my scoot home from the shop when it’s finished, so that means I have a lot of rehab to deal with over the next couple weeks. Hopefully it’ll take them at least 2.5 weeks to fix the bike. Even though I want to go riding yesterday.

Another wonderful factor about this summer, is my girlfriend Mindy. She’s so wonderful to me, she sees my soul for what it is, kind and loving, and I love her attitude towards me, I love the fact that she actually find me attractive and that she sees my soul for what it has been screaming to say and feel for so long. I’m sure there’s more reasons I enjoy being around her. I just hope we can continue to grow closer together as time spans. Relationships are hard to deal with, especially for people that have spent most of their adult lives alone.

6 more days and I’ll be 40… guh!

Where has the time gone?

I find it rather interesting in how I actually teach myself the matrix of how web site engines run. For instance, phpBB was one of my latest adventures, still is, but WordPress 2.7 has sparked my graphical mind set towards other projects that need a bit more twisting. I use my own personal web space to test out how these engines work while checking out all the different themes and styles other designers have created using the same engine, then if I find a theme or style that fits the project I’m working on, I’ll use it’s skeleton for my framework and then lay over my art work that best fits the client’s desires thus creating a new theme or style. However the web site’s frame maybe twisted to fit the ideas I have throughout the design process.
