That part I said here about needing a few things then I'll be good-to-go on a nice long road trip was the beginning of something I knew nothing about, and it's been a wild and wonderful experience all year on all the long road trips I've taken, including traveling to my dad's across three states by myself on the barren roads. I still say I prefer doing it with a little protection at hand if need be. But if anything I had GOD there and the Angels watching over me, and probably mom too. As I had them all in my thoughts on that long lonely road.

We all need to take a closer look at the amount of SPAM that hits our blog sites. It's unbelievable. Over 2000 SPAM hits on this one post... good thing I don't allow comments without approval first. But automation for removal is a beautiful thing.

However if you would like to comment on my site please send me an email and I'll add an account for your. Otherwise, all Comments on all posts are closed. But if you have an account, you would then be able to log in and leave a comment.

Please, say a prayer for Jeanne, she's struggling really bad, her body is starting to shut down.

Dear Linda and family,
What a beautiful picture of your family, all so lovely and happy. Praying that you all are in the comfort of God's loving arms at this difficult time for you all.
What peace we all have knowing our Father in Heaven never leaves us in troubled times, he walks with us as He promises.
I can only imagine how much you will miss Jim, what a blessing I am sure he was to you, family and so many friends. He is with his Father now, what joy that brings that we all will be with our Father too some day.
Linda, i am so glad I saw you at the hospital on Thursday and had a chance to visit for a minute, I miss you all there so much. what a lovely bunch of girls you all are.
Prayers and God's blessings,
Patty

13 days later
Saturday the 17th, is crunch time to get Jeanne's home ready for her return from hospital/nursing home care after falling ill to chemotherapy due to cancer. It always happens this way, why? Why do some people wait until the last day to take care of business is beyond my understanding. I seriously thought about driving down there this evening to drop off the boxes so I could ride down tomorrow... but I'm sure I'm going to have to use my wagon to move them boxes someplace and putting them on the scoot one at a time would take way to long..... but would offer up me way more time to ride. Sunday the 18th is the day when she comes home... I'm hoping to stay.

There was always a little "wish I had a motorcycle" thing... but didn't know it would ever happen. Thanks to you and the rest of our brothers and sisters of the Sentinels for poking me towards it... now I can't stop. Now I just need to find someone that enjoys riding on the back or next to me.

I heard the funeral was filled with many many people. This I solely believe, because of the way Jim lived his life and the way he belived in his family, coworkers and friends. The experiences he must have had through life will be told through his wife, children and the many that was blessed to have him in their lives. Even if only for a moment for some, the gratitude and thanks is felt from all as if the same.

I had a very nice ride in his honor, riding solo without music and just a nice cool brisk morning.
